At 400 meters from the beach of Santa Maria al Bagno and 2.5 km from the natural park of Porto Selvaggio, you will find the B&B Happy Days Golfo di Gallipoli with swimming pool, a modern and welcoming structure capable of offering a peaceful and comfortable stay in one of the most beautiful areas of Italy: Salento. The strategic position of the B&B will allow you to easily reach the most beautiful beaches of the Salento / Ionian coast, such as Baia Verde, Punta della Suina, Punta Pizzo and the Maldives of Salento going down to Santa Maria di Leuca. Or the beautiful beaches of Porto Cesareo, Torre Lapillo and Punta Prosciutto to the north.
In ten minutes by car you will arrive in Gallipoli which, with its restaurants and clubs, is the heart of the Salento nightlife; do not miss a visit to Lecce and the splendid historic center of Nardò in Baroque style.
The villa on two floors, with garden and swimming pool, offers you large, modern and bright rooms, equipped with free Wi-Fi, TV, fridge, air conditioning, private bathroom and balcony. The swimming pool is newly built, has dimensions of 8X4 meters and has a solarium built in Lecce stone which fits well into the context of the area.
Parking is free inside the structure. The cleaning of the rooms is daily.
THE GAZEBO AND THE BREAKFAST
The Italian breakfast much appreciated by our guests is served in the shade of a gazebo in the garden and offers fresh fruit of local production, “pasticciotti” from Lecce, homemade cakes, croissants, yoghurt, cereals and many other products that vary day by day.

Thanks to the good road system in the area, from the B&B Happy Days, it is easy to reach many interesting historical centers of the villages of Salento, which offer contexts and attractions with strong cultural and artistic appeal. For those who like to combine a visit to the villages with paths of knowledge and food and wine tasting, there are the right opportunities to get in touch with traditional Salento dishes and quality products, even those less known to visitors.
For those who love to know “la taranta” and “la pizzica” it is easy and quick to move towards the area where these traditions originated and have been handed down over the centuries. Galatina, Soleto, Corigliano and the towns of Salento Grecìa offer splendid historic centers to visit together with the opportunity to participate in the music and dance evenings of the Pizzica and della Taranta which culminate in thethe Night of the Tarantula which every end of August takes place in Melpignano with hundreds of thousands of people present.
Excursions on foot in Porto Selvaggio and its Natural Park.
More and more guests are organizing excursions on foot in the enchanting natural setting of Porto Selvaggio. You can start on foot from the Happy Days B&B or travel a couple of kilometers by car to the Torre dell’Alto area and then continue on foot for about 30 minutes. Other guests prefer to reach the car parks for Porto Selvaggio and then use the shuttle to get closer to the inlet.
