Make a difference when choosing an apartment in Puglia.

In the preparation of a trip with a stay in a seaside area, it is now common practice to select accommodation facilities, focusing on the evaluation of the quality of the services offered. The context in which the hotel or B&B is located and operates is also considered. It’s no longer the time  when the choice was mostly determined by the type of room and proximity to the sea and tourist areas. Other factors were often taken in account  and therefore played a less significant role in the final decision.

Here below some detailed pieces of information, helpful for visitors evaluation about what B&B Happy Days Golfo di Gallipoli can offer in terms of amenities.

The House

In managing B&B Happy Days, being aware of the good level of the structure, we work diligently on the quality of services available to guests. Paying attention to the well-being of the guest during their stay means creating conditions for them to feel comfortable. This is why we aimed to create a welcoming and relaxing residence, capable to promote the well-being and pleasure of people living here.

We have not focused on luxury, which does not belong to the B&B category, but rather on quality and hospitality.

The common areas of B&B Happy Days, all outdoors, have been designed to be enjoyed and experienced in a pleasant and relaxing way. The wooden gazebo, where we serve breakfast in the shade, is located near the pool and garden. The “dry stone” wall that marks the property limit has remained the original one, rough in its construction and materials but very authentic and well-integrated in the local contest.

To ensure a good insert of the pool in the surrounding environment, we chose local stone for the solarium flooring. We used “carparo” or Lecce stone, white in color, which characterizes the facility aesthetically but has a good impact on the area where it is located. Carparo is a nice stone widely used in art. A remarkable artistic testimony to this is the facade of the Basilica of Santa Croce in Lecce, as well as the beautiful portals of the most stunning buildings in the city and villages of Salento.

Gazebo and Breakfast

It is a shaded space with a wooden structure, located in the garden opposite the entrance of the B&B. From there,  just a few steps to reach the pool. We have equipped it simply with wooden tables and chairs. We serve an Italian breakfast with a variety of fruits and other products that we try to alternate during the guests’ stay. The “pasticciotti leccesi” and homemade cakes are particularly appreciated by both adults and children. But anyone love “frisella con pomodoro” a doble cooked local bread with tomatoes, basil and olive oil.

The car park is located at the bottom of the garden in a fenced space. It is accessed from the gate next to the main entrance on Santa Maria Street. Guests of each room have a free parking space available.

All the bathrooms have just been renovated with noticeable improvements for comfort.

Rooms facing the main entrance have large balconies with a table, chairs, and a clothesline. The room overlooking the garden has a slightly smaller balcony but equally equipped with a table, chairs, and a clothesline. The room on the ground floor has its own outdoor space under the equipped portico like the other rooms.

For the third guest, an extra bed or a baby cot can be added in the two larger rooms. An additional fee is required.

For one week stay, guests of the rooms on the first floor can use an indoor kitchenette or an outdoor small kitchen. The availability of the service should be checked at the time of booking time.

All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a fridge, and a TV screen.

Daily cleaning is provided for the rooms, bathrooms, balconies, and all indoor and outdoor areas, to ensure maximum comfort safety of guests. There are no additional charges for final cleaning.

There is a facilitate access for disabled guests in the room on the ground floor, the gazebo, and the pool. The parking space is conveniently located in front of the room entrance.
